Finding Diamonds:
When your map is zoomed to the max in a region, there is a tiny green or blue number on the map signifying the number of diamond caches in that zone; use this to your advantage.
Get The Golden AK-47:
In the southwestern area of the first region go north of the safe house island and you'll see a ledge. Go around the ridge to the top of the ledge and you'll see a plane containing a Jackal Tape. Search south of the crashed plane to locate a mine entrance; inside you'll find the Golden AK-47.
